Q. how many lessons will I need?
A. The amount of lessons one needs depends on the learning compatibility of the individual. Some people need fewer lessons than others. The driving standards agency advise those who have 45 hrs of professional training, combined with 22 hrs of private practice if available are more likely to pass the test. We find that most novices on average approx 30 hrs plus with regular lessons and taking more than one lesson a week.
Q. will I be shouted at if I do something wrong!
A. NO. Your instructor will be calm and explain what happened and offer remedial action. shouting destroys confidence and we aim to build yours.
Q. What if I crash the instructors car.
A. You will not ever crash your instructor's car as your instructor is highly trained in his field and our training cars are duelled controlled "which we find are seldom used".
Q. when can I book a test
A. Your instructor will let you know when you are ready to book your test. He will be constantly monitoring your level and know when you'll be ready.
Q. will I need to bring my licence with me on every lessons.
A. Yes. You should have your licence with you every time you intend to drive.
Q. will I have to share the car with anyone else learning
A. No. Your tuition is strictly on a 1-1 basis ensuring quality at all times.
Q, I find it hard to read and worried about the Theory questions.
A. No need to worry yourself. You can have the Theory Questions Read out through a head set when you take your theory. You must disclose that you require this on your application.
Q. can I start my lesson from one place and finished else where
A. yes, if arranged with your instructor prior to your lesson.
Q. What Car do I take my practical test in?
A. You will normally take your test in the car your learning in. "your instructor's car"
Q. When can I get private Practice?
A. Your Instructor will let you know when they think you are ready and will advise practice subjects. Your instructor may recommend that the person who will be taking you out for practice sit in on one of your lessons as this assures what would be expected and can elevate any concerns.
